On August 11, brave and determined crew and captains of over 15 NSHSA boats set sail to Worton Creek Marina with one goal in mind: win the 1st ever International Buffet dish contest. As boats started arriving in the creek,it was obvious to the casual observer that the stakes were high, very high. The various entrants started climbing the hill where the contest would soon take place carrying their pots and pans. Their faces showed determination
and resolve; they would fight to the end.A few hours later, as the dust settled, empty dishes and pans were spread around. All the food was gone. The judges had finished their task and declared the winners. It had been a rare collection of delicious dishes from many regions of the world. Another day in the life ot he NSHSA "boat
