Commodore's Party

On November 8 th 2008 the Northern Star Sailing Hunter Sailing Association (NSHSA) had their second Commodore’s party at the Baltimore Yacht Club (BYC). The day began with Frank on Contigo assigning slips to those who came to the party by boat. The members who took slips at BYC were: Narsilion with Silent Running as guest, Fortune Hunter, Jo-Lyn-Dy, Xtasea, Carpe Ventum, Adventure Bound, SENA NUFF, and Elsie's Phantansy. These boats joined the following boats who are residents at BYC: Aquilla, Paisano and Contigo. Frank managed to get slips for all of the boats on “C” pier which made it very nice for everyone to socialize before and after the party.

The party began with cocktails at 5pm followed by a short meeting with an election for the new slate of officers. The officers for the year of 2009 are Joe Cameron - Commodore, Paul Borchardt- Vice Commodore, Sybil Shipley -Fleet Capt, Ed Sabol- Secretary and Marie Frankle- Purser.
